The show "Piranjat" on Syri TV brings shocking images of what happens inside the Psychiatric Hospital of Vlora. Scandalous conditions beyond imaginable and facilities not at all decent, not only for the sick but for every human being.

The doctors themselves who work at the hospital have denounced the terrible condition in which this hospital is located and the inhumane treatment of patients.

" Patients are being treated like animals. 51 people stay in a room that is for 15 people. There are no minimum conditions to stay. There is only one functional shower for 51 people. There is no shampoo, they only wash with soap. They enter like cattle inside all naked.

Patients should be respected for their human dignity. Food is scandalous, not even given to animals. Mix soup, salad on a plate. There are no blankets and clothes. They have exploded and suicides are not being taken ," said one of the doctors for "Piranjat".

After this denunciation, the journalist Kamila Xhakaj managed to enter the premises of the Psychiatric Hospital of Vlora by herself and the images are shocking.

Patients who are without minimum living conditions. Moldy walls, wardrobes missing and showers not working. The patients look like they belong to a time left behind since the Nazi concentration camps.
