Anti-drug operation in Tepelena, 4 people are arrested

Four people were arrested during an anti-drug operation in Tepelena, codenamed "Monitoring".

The action was organized by the Directorate for Narcotics Investigation in the General Police.

Three bags with 30 kg of cannabis were seized in a car that was moving in the Bênçe-Tepelën action. The vehicle was driven by 54-year-old ID and the passenger was his 19-year-old son FD. Both were arrested in the act.

Also, a 27-year-old man with the initials MM was arrested, who was traveling in a second car type BMË, to monitor the road where the car with drugs would pass, in case there was a police presence.

A fourth person traveling in a third car was arrested. He is RB, 27 years old, who was transporting a Kalashnikov and military ammunition by car with the intention of selling them. This vehicle followed the cannabis car from behind.

The procedural actions were carried out by the specialists for Narcotics Investigation of the Gjirokastër Police Directorate.
