The Border Police in cooperation with the local directorate of Shkodra, at the Muriqan border crossing point, have seized an amount of over 680,000 euros which was being brought to Albania from Italy by the citizen Lefter Nelaj.

After the information received and after the control exercised in the vehicle, it turned out that this citizen was traveling from Italy in the direction of Albania, and in the two doors of the van under the upholstery, the amount of euros was placed in a box.

Investigative actions are being carried out with the aim of discovering the destination of the money.
