"Oh Rama, you don't go to Europe like Putin and Xi" - The 27th

The 27th consecutive protest against the Government has begun, with citizens once again gathering in front of the Prime Minister's Office demanding the government's resignation.

As in previous "Flamingo Revolution" protests, banners have been one of the most significant elements of the rally, conveying strong political and civic messages.

Among the banners held by the protesters, the following messages stood out:

"35 years of power, 3 names, 1 fate: Accountability."

“Europe supports democracy, not corruption.”

"Albania is not for sale."

"Oh Rama, you don't go to Europe like Putin and Xi."

"Weren't 36 years on the backs of Albanians enough for you, gentlemen of the GOVERNMENT?"

Protesters have also accused the political class, the Parliament, and state institutions of lack of representation and distancing themselves from the problems of citizens.
