The emigration of young people to EU countries and the United Kingdom has already become a phenomenon that has attracted the attention of the world's media, institutions and various televisions.
They migrate for a better life, in search of a new future and a secure life. This is also the story of a young Albanian, who was arrested in Madrid, Spain without a Schengen stamp and is expected to be deported to the country he fled from.
He is sent to the Police region where he is interrogated by Police and immigration officers. With handcuffs in his hands and tears in his eyes, he may be an example of what young Albanians who run away go through. His story appeared in the series of documentaries "To catch a smuggler" of National Geographic.
He is informed by the immigration agent that he must return to Albania as he has no reason to stay or seek asylum. He expresses sadness and refuses to return, saying that in Albania people are killed every day and he does not want to return. A part of the documentary was shared on Facebook by journalist Erjona Rusi.
Excerpts from the conversation:
Immigration agent: You will be deported to Albania
Boy : What if I don't want to go back
Immigration agent : Deportation to Albania must be done.
Boy : I don't want to go back, people are killed there every day. I don't want to die in Albania. It is not a safe place. It's true, look on TV there are people killed every day. Every day people are killed, every day. I am ready to do everything not to return to Albania.
