The 31st consecutive protest of the 'Flamingo' Revolution has begun.

Protesters initially gathered at Skanderbeg Square to head to the Prime Minister's Office building, where the speeches are being held.

This 31st protest also comes after an incident that occurred this Tuesday morning, where six protesters were detained.

One of the organizers, Arben Kola, has reacted after the incidents that occurred during the protest in front of the Parliament, accusing the authorities of aiming to escalate the situation.

He also called on citizens to react independently, emphasizing that the organizers are not responsible for their actions.

"These people are asking for violence, they want violence, not peaceful protest. From now on, Albanians should react independently and we will not be held responsible."

"Rama resigns, better before the citizens really drag you down and throw you in the trash. Give it to the youth, in the SP and DP there are many young people who can govern much better than Rama and Saliu," he added.

He also warned the police to be careful. "We will respond to violence with violence."

The arrest of the protesters came after tensions were recorded during the protest held in front of the Parliament, while all six were previously released.

Among those released was Dritan Goxhaj, who announced that the reason for his arrest was for opposing the Police.

"The reason for the escort was the alleged opposition of police officers, even though we did not oppose them. We acted as a fence and called on the protesters not to touch the police officers," Goxhaj emphasized.

The latter added that "the treatment of us has been normal and there have been no problems."

"Some MPs came and asked us about the situation. We refused to meet the Ombudsman, because for us he does not represent the people, because he was voted in by a Parliament that we consider a criminal Parliament. For this reason, we demanded his removal," said Goxhaj.

The rally in front of Parliament was accompanied by clashes between protesters and law enforcement, after a group of citizens attempted to break through the metal fence placed around the Parliament building.

To prevent the protesters from approaching, the officers created a security cordon, while the situation became tense with pushing and shoving between the parties.

Other moments of tension were recorded when protesters threw eggs at the vehicles of ministers and MPs who were leaving the Parliament.
