The protest against the Government and Prime Minister Edi Rama has entered its 26th day in Tirana, where citizens have continued to march towards the Prime Minister's Office with calls for his resignation and change of the political system.
Meanwhile, Tirana Police have announced the criminal prosecution of 11 protesters, after in the last two days of the protest, according to the capital's police, they "impeded the free movement of vehicles and citizens."
Dritan Goxhajn is also among those prosecuted.
While today, the majority in the Conference of Presidents did not accept the two requests of the Democrats for a motion with debate regarding the European Parliament resolution and the requests of the citizens who have been demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister for almost a month.
The Socialists said they do not recognize the Democratic Party as the spokesperson for the protesters, but for the Democrats, the real reason is that the majority seeks to avoid accountability for misgovernment.
