Today marks the 11th day of protests in the capital, with the same demands: against the Zvërnec project, as well as the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Like on other days, citizens first gathered at 'Skënderbej' Square, then continued the march towards the Prime Minister's Office with banners in their hands, "You have not yet settled your score with the students", "Without youth there is no Albania", "When students rise up, the state trembles".

Dominated by young people, but not lacking children, they held the protest peacefully and without incident.

Also noticeable in today's protest is a banner that reads, "Prizren 1878 brings together Albanians from 5 provinces, Tirana 2026 brings together Albanians from 5 continents."

These protests have been dubbed by young people as the “Flamingo Revolution.” The flamingo was chosen as a symbol because it directly represents the ecosystem of the Narta Lagoon, but later became a hallmark of the rise of young people who express their dissatisfaction with social, economic, and political issues in the country through protests.
