The police have arrested 7 foreign citizens, including 6 girls, who are accused of engaging in prostitution in the city of Elbasan.

Two pimps and 5 sex workers were arrested by police during an operation in different neighborhoods of the city.

-Colombian citizens AB, 22 years old, and LB, 19 years old, for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution";

-Spanish citizens SF, 36 years old, and MC, 32 years old, Colombian citizens PS, 27 years old, and YA, 29 years old, as well as Venezuelan citizen AR, 38 years old, for the criminal offense of "Prostitution".

Meanwhile, two other tutors, Peruvian citizens with the initials FG, 23 years old, and JG, 44 years old, have been declared wanted for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution".

Criminal proceedings were initiated against the 31-year-old Venezuelan woman YO, for the criminal offense of "Prostitution" while she was still at large.

According to the police, they had adapted rented premises for prostitution, and by promoting themselves on online sites, they offered sexual favors in exchange for payments.

Also seized were 43,000 lek and 2,780 euros, which are suspected to have been derived from this criminal activity, as well as 9 mobile phones.

DVP Elbasan/The police operation codenamed "Fee" continues, another case of prostitution is being investigated.

The operation by the Trafficking Investigation Section at the Elbasan DVP, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, was pursued with special investigative methods.

7 citizens are arrested in flagrante delicto, 1 is prosecuted and 2 other citizens (citizens from Latin American countries) are wanted for practicing prostitution and exploiting prostitution.

Sums of money, suspected to have been gained from this illegal activity, as well as cell phones, were seized.

Specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, following successive operations to crack down on illegality in the field of practicing and exploiting prostitution, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Fee".

As part of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:
