The police of Vlora struck today a criminal group active in the field of crimes against the person. Citizen Denis Karafili, 29 years old, was arrested  , while the following citizens were searched: Inez Hajrulla , 30 years old, Olsi Koçeli , 33 years old, Erand Hoxha, 32 years old, and Klaus Islamaj,  31 years old.

The police found this criminal group clothing (uniforms) and police radios, a bulletproof vest, license plates of suspected stolen vehicles, a sum of money, military ammunition, and other items, which are suspected of serving the activity of the criminal group.

But who is Inez Hajrulla?

The criminal group hit today allegedly had an ongoing clash in the city of Vlora with the criminal group of Armando Sulejmani, otherwise known as "Chipuri".

Inez Hajrulla escaped a mafia assassination recorded on May 10, 2019 in the "Uji i Ftohte" neighborhood in Vlora. He was shot by a moving vehicle while sitting in a bar.

Hajrulla was able to escape the assassination attempt, but Dajko Cenodemaj who was drinking coffee was accidentally injured. After leaving, the perpetrators burned the vehicle in Babicë i Vogël.

According to the Vlora police and prosecutor's office, nine people participated in this failed attempt, Fatmir Hyseni, Daut Elmazi, Igli Memaj, Gentian Dauti, Serxho Ademi, Albano Goxhaj, Davison Serjani, Ardjan Ahmeti and Xheladin Merko.

Daut Elmazi is the nephew of Armando Sulejman (Çipuri), while Fatmir Hyseni is also accused of executing Ervis Martinaj's friend, Santiago Malko.

There were strong suspicions that the assassination of Inez Hajrulla was carried out as a result of settling scores between rival groups in Vlora, as a response to the assassination of Armando Sulejmani (Chipuri).

 Even the name of Denis Karafil, (arrested), is known from the testimony of Inez Hajrulla, as his companion.
