The escort of Endri Dokla on October 8 happened after police information that he was moving with a wanted person. According to the data, the police agents followed Fatjon Murat for three days until he was arrested together with the former member of the Durrës gang.

Murat has been kept under surveillance with suspicions that he may know about the triple murder in Fushë Krujë but also about the arsenal of weapons that was discovered on the outskirts of Tirana. Fatjon Murati, arrested by the police as being implicated in the two weapons bases discovered on the outskirts of Tirana, was kept under observation for 3 days until the agents of serious crimes stopped him in the area of the 'Boulevard' of Kashari.

The pursuit of the 31-year-old's movements began after Murat appeared at the Kruja police station where, together with his friend Gentian Reçin, he gave statements about the July 17 massacre at the Fushë Kruja overpass.

After Murati and Reçi gave their statements at the Kruja Police Station, it was ordered to keep them under observation and report to the police about any movement. At noon on October 8, the criminal police had information that Fatjon Murati was moving with a person with a criminal record.

It was the former number two of the Durrës gang who communicated to the police officers that they were going to a family lunch. The stop was made at around 16:00 on Saturday, while sources inform that in addition to the armored car in which Dokle was driving, Murati e Reçi was accompanied by another vehicle.

This car was avoided as soon as it noticed the presence of the police stationed in this area for checks. In the directorate of Tirana during the interrogation of detained persons, the highest heads of the Criminal Police were also present, Ora writes .

Sources from the Tirana police inform me that Dokle will be interrogated again in the wake of ongoing investigations. For this reason, he has communicated to the police officials an exact residential address where he is staying so that the police officers can find him at the moment when justice may be needed.

We remind you that Fatjon Murati was declared wanted by the police on August 17, and the search ended on September 17. But new evidence administered by investigators regarding the recovered weapons prompted police to arrest him.

Who is Fatjon Murat?

Fatjon Murati was one of the persons requested by the Kurbin Prosecutor's Office to be interrogated regarding the massacre of three people killed in Fushë-Kruje, where three people were killed, due to suspicions that he was one of the organizers of the assassination.

Indrit Dokle was also questioned about the same incident, who stated that he had nothing to do with the assassination and was then released. For this incident, Gentian Reçi was also wanted for questioning.

In the massacre of Fushë-Kruja, Brilant Martinaj, Diklen Vata and Besmir Hoxha were killed, who were shot with about 60 Kalashnikov bullets in the Volkswagen Passat car, with which they were moving towards Laçi. The car caught fire from the barrage of bullets and as a result they were burned.

Only Vata was able to get out of the car, but the aggressors returned again and made sure he died. The victims had a criminal record in the field of crimes against the person, members of Ervis Martinaj's criminal group.

Who is Indrit Dokle?

Indrit Dokle was the leader of the Durrës gang, while he was released from prison in January 2020. Dokle is known for his enmity with Ervis Martinaj, as the latter was willing to pay 500,000 euros for Dokle's execution.

This detail emerged from the testimony of the repentant justice Nuredin Dumani, who had received 100,000 euros in advance from Martinaja to kill Dokle, but this objective was never achieved.

Meanwhile, previously Dokle was also questioned about the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj, after Martinaj's father had stated to the police that they suspected that Dokle had a hand in Martinaj's disappearance.
