The General Secretary of the Municipality of Vau i Deja, Mark Zhuri, has made a strong denunciation, where he stated that he was threatened by the chief of the police station of Vau i Deja, Bardhyl Saliu.

He says that thanks to Saliu, the area has been filled with Cannabis and despite several successive denunciations, according to him, nothing has been done to bring Saliu to justice. Zhuri says that a significant amount of forest was burned during the burning of cannabis by people who did not pay Saliu.

He further says that he has notified the main heads of state about the situation in Vaun e Deja, but according to Zhuri, no one has responded.

" Hello everyone. I am the General Secretary of the Municipality of Vau de Deja. On the 11th around 12 o'clock I had a meeting with the Mayor and employees of the Demal administrative unit. When I finished, the chief of the police station of Vau i Deja, Bardhyl Saliu, blocked my way and threatened me and my two friends.

After insulting us, he also accused me of a tender for a road in the village of Vilë of the Demal administrative unit, that I had something to do with this tender. I continued with insults and we exchanged insults at each other. I have filed a complaint about this event and I have been reporting it for a year, both for the constructions and for the arrogant behavior towards the residents and the elders of the villages. I have notified all instances of the Albanian state.

I also informed the Prime Minister of Albania and the Minister of the Interior. I have also notified the former director of the State Police, Gladis Nano. With his support, the area has been cannabisized, those who pay 4,000 euros for plots have not been deprived of their plots, while others have been deprived of them.
