Wanted by Spain for drug trafficking, young man arrested in Shkodra (NAME)

A 36-year-old man internationally wanted by Spanish authorities has been arrested as part of the operation codenamed "Operacional 21".

In cooperation with Spanish counterparts, young Spartak Suca was located and arrested in the city of Shkodra. He was wanted by Spanish authorities on charges of participating in a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking.

The Court of Tarragona, Spain, had imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on him for the criminal offense of "Drug trafficking", committed within the framework of a criminal organization.

"Accused in Spain of participating in a criminal organization for drug trafficking, the 36-year-old is arrested and handcuffed for extradition purposes.

As a result of the coordination of information and operational actions, with counterparts from the Spanish Police, within the framework of the police operation "Operacionalja 21", citizen Spartak Suca, 36 years old, born in Shkodra, was located in Shkodra, captured and put in handcuffs.

He was internationally wanted because the Tarragona Court has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Drug trafficking", committed within the framework of a criminal organization, the police announced. 
Following the arrest, Interpol Tirana is cooperating closely with Interpol Madrid to complete the extradition procedures of the 36-year-old to Spain, where he will face justice.
