Internationally wanted for drug trafficking and document forgery, 45-year-old

A 45-year-old man who is internationally wanted has been arrested by the capital's police.

The Naples Court of Appeal had issued an Arrest Warrant against Genti Beqiri alias Eduard Pano, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal Group", "Drug Trafficking" and "Forgery of Documents".

Work continues on his extradition to Italy.

Successive operations to capture internationally wanted persons continue.

The police operation codenamed "Operation 37" is being finalized by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force.

Wanted in Italy for "Criminal Group", "Drug Trafficking" and "Document Forgery", the 45-year-old from Tirana was captured in Tirana.

The Directorate of the Special Operational Force, following successive operations to capture internationally wanted persons, based on police intelligence and the cooperation of FAST ALBANIA with the European Network (ENFAST), has organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Operation 37".

As part of the operation, in the city of Tirana, the Directorate of the Special Operational Force at the Criminal Police Department located, identified and arrested for the purpose of extradition the citizen Genti Beqiri alias Eduard Pano, 45 years old, resident of Tirana.

The Court of Appeal of Naples/Italy has issued an Arrest Warrant against this citizen for the criminal offenses of "Criminal Group", "Drug Trafficking" and "Document Falsification", as provided for by Italian criminal legislation.

Interpol Tirana continues to cooperate with Interpol Rome to finalize the procedure for the extradition of the 45-year-old to Italy.
