A 19-year-old man was arrested by the Tirana police after performing dangerous maneuvers near a school in the capital.
The teenager with the initials LL was also driving without a license, and the tests showed that he had consumed cocaine.
Regarding his detention, the Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla also reacted.
"Thanks to the cooperation with the leaders of a school in Tirana, the Tirana Traffic Police has prevented possible road incidents. A student (+18 years old) was stopped by the Police while performing dangerous maneuvers with a vehicle near the school.
After the checks carried out on this citizen, it turned out that he was under the influence of drugs, as well as not having a driver's license. As a result, he was arrested in flagrante delicto for "Irregular driving", provided by article 291 of the Criminal Code. I urge the public to always notify the State Police whenever they find dangerous maneuvers or behavior on the road," Balla writes on social networks.
