The person you see in the photos above is Eris Mehmetaj , who was detained in Tirana, in connection with the assassination recorded on Sunday morning in Vlora, where Renato Hoxhaj was executed.

He is originally from Tropoja , and is also known as a friend of Roan Brahimi alias Sidorel Prendit, as seen from the photo provided by VoxNews .

We recall that Roan Brahimi alias Sidorel Prendi was executed in May last year in Athens, having taken refuge in Dubai.

Eris Mehmetaj was detained by blue uniforms after the Vlora Police identified the vehicle in which the murderer was driving on the day of the crime.

The investigation revealed that Mehmetaj had given the vehicle to the perpetrator before the crime, while the vehicle's license plates had also been changed afterwards.

Eris Mehmetaj's cell phone has also been seized, from which the investigative group believes it will obtain data that could help solve the murder of Renato Hoxhaj.

The investigative group suspects that the murder of the 58-year-old was ordered from Dubai, by a criminal group from Vlora, under suspicion that he may have been an informant for the opposing group.
