Residents of the village of Rroll in Shkodra/ Businessman Bashkim Ulaj/ SPAK/ Belinda Balluku

Residents of the village of Rrjoll in Velipoja, in the Shkodra region, have moved their protest towards the capital.

They gathered today in front of the Special Prosecution Office building, where with slogans and banners in their hands they appealed for justice from the highest prosecution body in the country.

Residents are protesting against the construction of a tourist resort in the area by businessman Bashkim Ulaj , claiming that it not only takes away their property, but also damages it.


The protesters say they trust only SPAK to solve the problem and appealed to it to investigate.

Residents also hold Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku responsible for signing the construction permit , based on the VoxNews investigation published with the title: " Balluku does the second honor of his life to Bashkim Ulaj, signs the construction permit for the 1,460,549 m2 resort in Rrjoll ."

They have settled in front of the Special Prosecutor's Office where they oppose the project.

Residents held banners and signs with slogans: " Justice, Justice, Justice!", "We believe in SPAK", "We want justice", "We demand our properties " and others.


60 families are demanding a halt to the works, while yesterday they declared that the construction permit was signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku .
