Motorcycles confiscated from crime are given to the State Police!

Minister of Internal Affairs Besfort Lamallari participated in the ceremony of handing over dozens of new motorcycles to the State Police, which will be used by the Traffic Police and the "Eagle" special forces.

This investment was financed with assets confiscated from crime. In his speech, Minister Lamallari emphasized that this investment is concrete evidence of the way the state returns assets obtained from crime to society.

"Today is a good day for the State Police. Not only because its fleet is being added with dozens of new motorcycles that will be used by the Traffic Police and the 'Eagle' forces, but because these vehicles represent a clear vision of our government in the fight against crime," he said.

He further thanked the police officers for the professionalism shown during the protests of recent days.

"You and your colleagues have gone through a busy and challenging period, not only on the ground, but also in the merciless square of public opinion. You have faced provocations, accusations and hasty judgments, where social networks often speak before the facts themselves speak and public trials are announced. Think about what it means to face unfiltered hatred, where the 'hero' or revolutionary delirious, publicly accuses you of violence, a staged theater-reality, with the sole purpose of going viral.

In such scenes, the only two parties who are innocent are the police officer, who must maintain his dignity with patience at all costs, because his position demands it, and the accuser himself, in some cases, who, in every case we have witnessed recently, is more in need of care, examinations, and possibly treatment than legal responsibility.

"Continue like this, without ever losing patience and without ever falling prey to provocations. The uniform you wear requires self-restraint in the face of those who do not respect either the law or the institutions. The police should not respond with emotion, they respond with the law. This is the difference between the state and chaos," said Lamallari.
