The murder of a young Albanian man has shocked Sweden.

Gent Maksutaj, just 19 years old, was killed on the street in Uppsala while out for a walk.

According to local media, the Albanian had just graduated and was planning to study architecture.

But on Sunday evening he went for a walk after injuring his knee playing football and needed to move so that the injury wouldn't get worse.

But this was also the fatal moment for Gent.

It was initially reported that Genti had been mistakenly shot after a clash between gangs.

Meanwhile, an 18-year-old has been arrested for the serious crime.

The newspaper Aftonbladet reports that the murder is a clean execution.

The perpetrator took the train to Stockholm, but was later arrested at a Burger King restaurant.

It is believed that the perpetrator was riding a bicycle and fired once. After the victim was lying on the ground, he approached and fired again from close range.

Prosecutors believe there are other people involved in this crime.

Police are not yet able to say whether the crime is related to gang warfare in Sweden.
