Bad news is predicted for the rainfall situation in our country. Lajda Porja from the Metoalb Meteorological Service, speaking to the media, said that the rain will continue intensively throughout today until midnight, while it will stop on Monday, but will resume on Tuesday.

According to her, there will be flooding in some areas, even in the south of the country, while only the southeast is predicted to be without problems.

"Not good news regarding the rains, as they will continue and there will be intensification of rains during the following hours. The south and mainly Vlora will have large amounts of rain, until after midnight. The rain will stop on Monday, but will continue again on Tuesday and Wednesday, until the middle of next week.

The monthly rate has been exceeded throughout the north, November is expected to double the monthly rate in most of the territory.

The problems will appear tomorrow with flooding, even more so after Tuesday, where we will have a cell that will still produce rain, causing that on Thursday we will have an expansion of the map of flood areas. Southeast is not a problem.

Even the capital will receive rain throughout the day today, in the morning of Monday, it is expected to exceed the monthly rainfall rate. Certain neighborhoods and areas that have a history of flooding are expected to have problems with flooding.

Even Durrës is problematic. Tuesday Wednesday will again bring large amounts of rain. 70% of the territory will exceed the monthly rate. There will be an improvement on Thursday, when there will be interruption of rains, decrease in intensity of rains. Temperatures are not problematic, autumn temperatures remain," she said.
