The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has called the government of Kosovo a "criminal regime" for the way she claims it treats Serbs.

"The situation of Kosovo Serbs is literally getting worse day by day. Violations of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 have become grimly routine. The level of inter-ethnic tension is increasing rapidly," Zakharova said, among other things.

This reaction of hers came in a discussion with journalists, when she was asked about the developments in Kosovo, after the decision of the new regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo.

"After the decision to stop the circulation of the Serbian dinar, thereby depriving the local non-Albanian population of the possibility of receiving pensions, benefits and other payments, the regional "authorities" began a new phase of liquidation of administrative and commercial structures beyond its borders , including the network of Serbian Post branches. Illegal controls are carried out, documents and cash are confiscated, employees are detained and criminal cases are initiated," she declared.

"The criminal regime of "prime minister" Albin Kurti has finally moved into the active stage of anti-Serb ethnic cleansing - the expulsion of Serbs from their ancestral lands. In this way, Prishtina hopes to be freed from the need to fulfill its obligations, first of all, to form the Association of Kosovo Serb Municipalities

By encouraging Albin Kurti and the terror he unleashed, the West tries to punish Belgrade for its determination to defend national sovereignty and the right to pursue an independent course, for its determination to maintain friendly relations with Russia and other states outside the European Union. The Atlantic Orbit wants to force the Serbs to sacrifice their basic interests, including the protection of their fellow countrymen.

"We see this not only in Kosovo, but also in neighboring Bosnia-Herzegovina, which the Western power centers are trying to remodel according to a unitary model and bring it under their control," said Zakharova.
