"Meneri had the support of the state", says the neighbor of the author
Alban Meneri

Alban Meneri, who punched his neighbor Nikolin Staka to death, had constant conflicts with the residents of the neighborhood. This is what Mimoza Krasniqi, a resident of the building where the victims Staka and Meneri lived, says.

She says that she herself had a legal conflict with Mener for a parking space. Mimoza Krasniqi also says that Meneri has always had the support of institutions such as the Mortgage and the Police.

She also said that Staka's family lived abroad, and that he was found dead by the caretaker, who had arrived at the apartment the next morning.

"My name is Mimoza Krasniqi, in 2015 we had a court conflict with Mr. Meneri, the court decision was executed by the bailiff, and he also received a certificate of ownership, even though we have a parking license for 30 years. The mortgage provided him with a certificate by order correction, every time they come to park, this one fights with the residents.

The person who became a victim, who had been renting for a month, argued with the hairdresser's lady. The victim goes to the window and tells him not to argue with him. Not only did he damage her with his fists, but he also hit her after throwing her to the ground. The next day the caretaker comes and finds the door locked. After entering through the window, my husband was found unconscious and cold. When they found him, they informed the police, he was completely blackened.

The person took an authority, there were constant conflicts. He gave money to the employees of Hipoteka, he had the support of the police and institutions, he brought two barges with gravel and they were not removed, despite complaints to the police",  Krasniqi told the media.

Nikolin Staka was a teacher by profession, born in Laç and a resident of Tirana for a month, who previously lived in Belgium. Staka died after criticizing the author for the conflict he was having with a woman, while Meneri, editor of RTSH, felt annoyed and offended by this criticism and asked Staka to come down so they could clarify. After they faced each other face to face, Meneri punched him in the head, limbs and neck and left the scene, while the 56-year-old allegedly died inside his apartment from hemorrhage.
