A 68-year-old man was stabbed by a young girl after the old man tried to rape him. The citizen with the initials NN, hit the citizen Zef Paloka several times after the latter went to her during dinner hours near the apartment and tried to perform shameful acts with her.

The 68-year-old was sent to the regional hospital of Shkodra as he is out of danger. Multiple police forces arrived at the scene and started investigations. The 21-year-old woman with the initials NN was arrested by the officers as the suspected author of the injury. It is learned that the young girl from Vau i Deja has confessed the whole incident. She stated that for a year the 68-year-old sexually harassed her until yesterday evening he went near her house trying to have sex with her. Journalist Senad Nikshiqi provided BalkanWeb with the girl's testimony to the police.

"For a year, he has been harassing me on the street since we live close to each other in the same neighborhood. I have never returned it. Last night he came near my apartment and started harassing me again while also doing obscene acts in front of me. In this situation, I went home and took a knife, hitting it to defend myself, as I had no other choice," the suspected perpetrator is said to have stated.

Meanwhile, 68-year-old Zef Paloka has denied that he sexually harassed her and that he committed shameful acts in front of her. Zef Paloka has not yet been arrested by the police since the 21-year-old's statements about the attempted rape have not been proven. It is known that the young girl was engaged in agriculture near her house. The police and the prosecutor's office of Shkodra are continuing the investigations to fully clarify the event that happened in Vau Dejës.
