According to the Durrës police, the police operation organized in Durrës, Tirana and Elbasan has made it possible to execute 20 out of 33 security measures determined by court decision.

Personal security measures were imposed at the request of the prosecution for the transportation of 2,800 tons of hazardous waste from the Kurum company from the port of Durrës to Thailand.

Meanwhile, the waste containers continue to remain in the Porto Romano area and it is still unknown what will be done with them, how they will be disposed of and where, after their designation as hazardous waste for human health and the environment.
