Four German tourists were rescued by the police, after they were trapped in the place called "Qafa e Peja", in Theth.

According to the blue uniforms, they were exploring the area on foot when they got stuck in the middle of the mountain and one of them suffered injuries that made walking impossible.

"Civil emergency services have controlled the area with a helicopter and have made it possible to locate the tourists. The injured tourist was transported by helicopter to the trauma hospital in Tirana for medical assistance. "Thanks to the well-organized work and cooperation with other services, the police officers made it possible to get 3 other tourists out of the difficult terrain where they were trapped," the police announced.
