The appeal of Vlora has rejected the request of the family of the engineer Armando Meshau, deciding to further reduce the sentence of the perpetrator of the crime, Rei Meta.

Meta, who is the son of the member of the High Prosecution Council Nurihan Seitu (Meta), was convicted of "manslaughter".

After a conflict in construction, Rei Meta confronted Meshau, shooting the latter with his fist while he was in an internet center in Vlora. The impact caused him to hit his head and die on the spot.

The Court of Appeal seems to have been generous with Meta, reducing his sentence from 3 years to 3 years and 3 months, and that through the summary trial it was further reduced to only 18 months in prison.
