The action to demolish illegal buildings in Theth has entered its 7th day, where IKMT Fadromat, supported by law enforcement, continue to demolish buildings. So far, about 70 illegal buildings have been demolished, and the action will continue in the coming days.

The situation on the ground remains calm for the moment, but tensions are present. In front of the Church of Theth, which is a symbol of the area, the Men's Assembly gathered, a meeting that focused on discussing the action and its consequences for the residents of the area.

The residents of Theth are concerned about the future of their guesthouses, and are seeking a solution from the government to stop the action and create opportunities for the legalization of the construction of guesthouses, as part of the package for the development of mountain tourism. They are seeking more information and opportunities to participate in this initiative.

Zef Vladi, a resident of Shala, also participated in this gathering, who spoke about the historical and cultural importance of the towers of Theth, emphasizing that they were built with sweat and protected with blood.

He described the demolition of these objects as unreasonable, calling for dialogue and not destruction.

"I have called on the government to stop the action, because it is not reasonable. We know that some constructions had errors and should not have been allowed, but they were built with our effort and sacrifices.

"These houses are more than just objects, they are part of our history, protected with sweat and blood," said Vladi, emphasizing that after this protest, only an opportunity for dialogue and agreement is required.

The priest of Theth has called for dialogue between authorities and residents, emphasizing the importance of maintaining harmony and cooperation for a lasting solution.

The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Shkodra has also come out in support of the residents of the area, committing to protecting the environment and their rights in this process. The church's response has emphasized the importance of preserving the nature and traditions of Theth.

Tensions continue to be present, as clashes occur from time to time between residents and law enforcement.
