Many Albanian families are currently under strong blackmail, hit by an extortion mechanism, victims of a scheme that circulates millions of euros.
At the head of this scheme, considered one of the most serious financial crimes in Albania in the last 20 years, are the MCA-ADCA companies, directed by the citizen Arben Meskuti.
This important figure in the field of microcredits in Albania is accused by a very high number of people of extortion and fraud.
Meskuti is currently under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana for passport forgery and illegal border crossing. But he is able to move freely outside the borders thanks to an American passport.
Regarding his American citizenship, the online site "Prapaskena" writes that Meskuti has also committed the crime of fraud. In an article published today, it is written:
"Meskut dared to deceive the Americans for years. In New York, he presented himself as an orphan boy born in Përmet on October 6, 1980, falsifying every trace of his family in Tirana.
In fact, Arben Meskuti was born in Tirana on October 6, 1978, according to the Albanian identity card that has the NID H81006117C. The Americans gave him a Green Card and then a passport, for which he swore in front of the flag.
But swearing on the American flag comes at a heavy cost if you've cheated on your ID.
Forgery is a federal crime and Arben Meskuti, who escaped three months ago by throwing "a few lek" to the Tirana policemen with the expression "I lost my American passport" now has accounts with the "ustallars" across the Atlantic" - writes this media.
According to the article, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana is also investigating Meskut's last trip accompanied by a notary, as both are suspected of having withdrawn a large amount of money from Albania to Turkey.
