The violence against a 3-year-old girl in one of Tirana's private kindergartens a few days ago has alerted parents about the safety of the kindergartens where they take their children.
Are they licensed, do they have staff trained to be educators, and how safe are their facilities?
Controls show that there are still kindergartens operating without a license, a situation that remains more worrying in districts, where controls are even less frequent.
To help parents, MAS has detailed the official list of private kindergartens that are licensed to carry out this activity throughout the country, while it has confirmed the launch of intensive controls in each district, to detect and punish all abuses that may occur. are done to minors in these structures.
"From the controls of these days, 90 non-public kindergartens have been inspected and 67 of them are operating in accordance with the law. 8 kindergartens turned out not to have applied for the relevant licensing and two of them were denied licensing", stated today the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirli.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education and Sports has published on its official website the List of Preschool Institutions (that is, kindergartens that are licensed by MAS), a list which is being updated.
