BREAKING NEWS/ SPAK invades the Municipality of Peqin, the tender under
Bukurosh Maçi: Mayor of Peqin Municipality

SPAK has launched investigations into a red-flag tender, opened by the Municipality of Peqin on August 28 of last year.

The criminal proceedings have been registered and are being led by prosecutor Dritan Prençi , who has recently questioned several Municipality officials, including the chief finance officer and the chief engineer.

The tender has as its object " Emergency intervention on the embankment of the Shkumbin River to avoid the collapse of the Cengelag-Shezë road, Peqin Municipality" , with a limit fund of 49,691,349 lek, through an open procedure.

One of the points that raises doubts is the extremely short time for submitting bids, only 20 days, with a deadline of September 9, 2024, and holding the tender on the same day./syri
