LATEST NEWS/ Explosion in Paris Municipality in Tirana

An explosion occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Municipality of Paris in Tirana, in a hairdressing salon owned by a person from Kukësi, near the "Kika 2" complex.

The explosion happened around 04:00 in the morning and it is about a quantity of detonator capsules that exploded near the business, causing minor damage.

The investigators have doubts about any conflict that the owner may have had and the explosives may have been the source of the message. Security cameras in the area have been seized to find out if the movement of the perpetrator was filmed.

Police Notification

On 11.12.2022, at around 09:30, the Police received a notification that the door of a shop, on "Jusuf Vrioni" street, was forced open.

Immediately after the announcement, the Police services and the investigative team went to the scene. From the preliminary actions, it is suspected that the door of the store owned by citizen AC may have been damaged as a result of the explosion of a detonator capsule, or of some small amount of explosives.

The investigative group continues its work to clarify the circumstances of the event and the cause of the damage to the door.
