BREAKING NEWS/ The Transparency Board changes prices again, here's how much

The Transparency Board publishes new fuel prices in the country.

It is announced that the price of diesel will be increased by 198 lek/liter, from 201 lek/liter two days ago.

Meanwhile, gasoline will be sold at no more than 185 lek/liter.

Announcement:

The Transparency Board on May 15, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:

The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 198 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 186 lek/liter.

The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 185 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 173 lek/liter.

The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 15th, at 1:00 p.m. and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.

We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.

In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market.
