New details from the cocaine laboratory discovered in Frakull of Fier have been revealed. 

Sources indicate that cocaine was processed in the apartment of the former mayor of the municipality of Frakull Viktor Červanaku. The latter lived in Tirana and other people dealt with the cocaine.

The same sources indicate that among those arrested are two Colombian citizens who were involved in the processing of cocaine inside the laboratory. In total, 15 people have been arrested so far, 4 of them from Tirana.

Cocaine was seized in July in the port of Tivari and was hidden inside bags of chemical fertilizer, with a total weight of 400 kg. But, it was allowed to continue to catch the orderers and arrived in Fier to be processed inside the laboratory. The narcotic is suspected to have come from Colombia.

The operation was carried out by the American DEA, in cooperation with SPAK and the Montenegrin police, where for almost three months observations and interceptions were carried out.

Dozens of police forces are currently at the scene. It is learned that the police also seized two Kalashnikov firearms, a shotgun and a couple.
