DOCUMENTS/ Who is "Taulanti" in the file on the murder of Agron

A political storm has started since the moment when in court, Adrian Çapja, one of the most influential names in the city of Elbasan, declared that the murder of his lawyer, Ravik Gurra, would reveal the implication of an important politician.

Since that moment, the opposition and the chief democrat Sali Berisha associate this statement with the chairman of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla. This is not without reason. The genesis of history begins on February 3, 2016, when Agron Çapja, Enver Sinakoli, Eno Bedalli were killed in Elbasan and 7 others were injured.

The Elbasan massacre opened a wiretapping file in which a phone number was also discovered. In the decision dated February 17, 2016, the Elbasan court fails to specify whether it is Balla or not, referring only to him by phone number. The phone number  0682055399 appears in the court records as "Taulant", although the same number coincides with the number of the chairman of the SP group, through verification on social networks. But again, this does not implicate the socialist in this matter. The situation changes at this moment.

Ardian Çapja said in court that Taulant's wiretaps have disappeared and been destroyed. The accusation is reinforced by Berisha, who declared today in the Assembly that this role was played by the prosecutor of the case, who was brought up in his office.

In the court's decision, published today by Shijak TV , the same court that approved the tapping of this number, has decided that every data and material be deleted.

"The deletion and disposal of the recorded interception material on the CD received in this court with document No. 140 dated 02/16/2016, which contains the registration of the mobile phone number 0682055399 from 02/04/2016 at 13:20 minutes until 06/02/2016 at 12:10 minutes", says the court decision, again for the number used by "Njeriu Taulant".
