Tirana police have cracked down on another case of selling cannabis in doses.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested after police found 1 kg and 54 grams of cannabis in gelatin form during a physical search of his apartment.

The young man identified as Domeniko Cibaku, a resident of Dibër, was arrested on "5 Maji" street.

Investigations suspect that the narcotics worth 10,000 euros came by mail from Canada to Albania and were to be sold in bars in the '5 Maji' area where the 23-year-old was arrested.

Sources indicate that the young man, who had no criminal record, was a drug user and was helped by another person to sell the cannabis. The latter has been declared wanted by the Police.
