A 33-year-old man has been criminally prosecuted, after being caught in Rinas with over 21,000 undeclared pounds. It is about the citizen with the initials VK, who had hidden the money in his body parts.

"At the entrance to the Republic of Albania, citizen VK, 33 years old, resident of Elbasan, was passed to the second line for a more detailed check. During the physical check, an improvised belt was found on this citizen, in which he had hidden 21,790 pounds, in order not to declare them." it is stated in the Police announcement.

The authorities announce that the "Action" operation was executed after receiving information provided through information intelligence.

Also, at the exit of the Republic of Albania, the Montenegrin citizen VK, 47 years old, was passed to the second line for a more detailed check, in whose hand bag 10,000 francs and 800 euros were found, which were not had declared them according to the legal provisions.

Both persons are under investigation for the criminal offense "Failure to declare money or valuables at the border".
