Turned physiotherapy center into 'nest' of prostitution in the middle

A prostitution "nest" was discovered today in the middle of Tirana, leading to two criminal proceedings.

The police announced that after investigations that lasted more than three months together with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, BG, 40 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto for "exploitation of prostitution".

A 41-year-old woman, believed to be a sex worker, was also prosecuted at large for the criminal offense of "prostitution."

The operation was carried out by Police Station No. 2, at a massage center on "Ismail Qemali" Street, owned by the arrested woman.

"The services of the Police Commissariat No. 2, as a result of a 3-month investigation, carried out in coordination with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense "Exploitation of prostitution", a BG citizen, 40 years old, and proceeded criminally while at large, for the criminal offense "Prostitution", a 41-year-old woman. In the premises of the subject (physiotherapy center), on "Ismail Qemali" street, owned by a BG citizen, 40 years old, it was found that a 41-year-old woman was being exploited for prostitution", the police announced.

As material evidence, a sum of money obtained from this illegal activity was seized. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
