A few days ago, Ervis Martinaj 's father issued accusations against justice institutions regarding his son's fate.

He told the media that his son had been executed in Durrës.

But today the Minister of Interior, Besfort Lamallari , when asked by journalists about the mystery of his disappearance, did not provide any information.

He stated that as a political figure he cannot be involved in this matter, but emphasized that the information is available to the judicial police officer and the prosecutor in the case.

"This event you are referring to is a concrete event, which means that your request for comment from my side cannot be addressed because it would require the involvement of a political figure in operational matters. The assessment of the level of investigations carried out by the state police is made only by the prosecutor of the case. This information is available only to the judicial police officers and their hierarchy and the orders delegated by the prosecutor of the case who assess the level of the investigation. Therefore, there can be no comment from my side, especially regarding deadlines, because the deadlines are determined by the complexity of the case," said the Minister of Interior.

Meanwhile, Mustafa Martinaj, who appeared for the first time at the Special Court, did not hesitate to say that everyone knows the fate of the former gambling boss, except the media and the Prosecution.

"My son was executed in Durrës. I am his father, so I know. I have given explanations about this matter to the agents of the National Bureau of Investigation, where I appeared on my own initiative. I came myself 2 months after the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj in August 2022," said Mustafa Martinaj.
