Former State Police official Shemsi Prençi has confessed that he participated in an operation to capture Fredi Beleri, during the Peshkepi massacre in 1994, when the Greek terrorist group "MAVI" attacked the border post of the Albanian army.
During an interview on the show "Breaking" on Top News, Prençi criticized the Albanian politicians who supported Beler's candidacy, catapulting him to the circumstances where he is today, running as a Greek MEP in the EU.
Prençi said that they could have been "killed" during the action to capture Beler and other MAVI members, as they were heavily armed.
"I have been looking for Beler to catch him, to arrest him. We could have been killed, because he was armed. Albanians are able to think and judge that these people who cried at the grave of the martyrs killed by the Greek "MAVI", today these people who present him as a candidate, this is political infamy," stated Prençi.
From the attack of the Greek terrorist organization "MAVI" in Peshkpi, the guard Arsen Gjini and the commander of this department Fatmir Shehu were killed and four other soldiers were injured.
"Fredi Beleri is like two drops of water with Radoicic." He also went and gathered some terrorists and attacked the policemen in Kosovo. If Vučiçi does not arrest him and Albin Kurti runs for Kosovo tomorrow, I tell you, the people will hang Albin Kurti in the middle of Pristina", said Prençi further.
