In a gloomy period for Kosovo, where two serious cases of murder of women have caused social shock, the Albanian singer Adelina Ismaili has made a strong reaction on social networks, calling for the permission to carry weapons for women at risk.

Through a post on social networks, Adelina clearly states: "Allow weapons for vulnerable women! Women, protect yourself and life! Protect your daughters, sisters, mothers with your lives! Deal with comments that call for murder online! Note that no religious cleric has condemned the killing of women in Kosovo! A lot more".

This reaction of hers is a reflection of a deep concern that affects the entire Kosovar society. Ismail's comment comes after two tragic events that have deeply affected the Kosovar community.
