The outer courtyard of the Police Directorate of Elbasan was filled today with citizens, who landed there after their family members accompanied them after a flash operation for drugs and for the capture of wanted persons.
An elderly woman was among the people waiting for news from her son, who according to her was unfairly associated with the claim that his son sold drugs. She said that they are living in a dictatorship.
"They took me away. They suspected the nephew of drugs, but they found nothing. They took them to clarify something. The boy has been here since 6 o'clock. We were scared, as if we have criminals at home (crying) Why are we in a dictatorship? We are living among criminals.
The nephew used to deal in drugs, but that is not true. We are in a dictatorship. They have become worse than Putin who is killing people there.
Meanwhile, another resident showed details of the police action, while saying that the officers had mercy on the house in the middle of the night.
"The police came to us at 4 o'clock in the morning. They took my son. What about my son doing drugs? He has been doing 4 months without leaving the house, he has closed in on himself, because he had problems with his wife. He went into depression.
They found nothing in the house, they turned it over. Even the suitcases overturned. I couldn't take the nasal medicine to the boy, because he can't breathe at all. I have no money for a lawyer, I have no bread to eat. We are retired, we don't deal with dirty things," said the elderly woman.
