The scheme of how Shkëlqim Domi, Saimir Sallaku and Shefik Kurti deceived various citizens in the name of local institutions.

The authors used the name of the mayor of Lezha, taking a considerable amount of money from businessman Ylli Ukja, who is also the president of the basketball club "Covenant".

The same businessman, the three tried to deceive him on July 17, but it seems that in the second case the businessman realized that it was a trap and was directed with a denudation to the police.

Domi and Sallak were placed in handcuffs, while Kurt was declared wanted.

"The investigative actions are suspected that citizens Shkëlqim Domi and Saimir Sallaku, in cooperation with the citizen Shefik Kurti, on 14.07.2024, have received 15 000 Euros from the administrator of an economic operator, communicating with him in the application "Signal", on behalf of representatives of local institutions.

On 17.07.2024, they tried to get another large amount of money from this citizen through the same scheme. "This time they tried to get 20,000 euros," police said.
