A 60-year-old holidaymaker has died today at the beach of Pish Poro, Fier.
Police say he is suspected to have suffered cardiac arrest after he died when he was taken to bathe in the water.
Cases of beach deaths due to cardiac arrest are frequent in our country, and occur mainly when the person stays for a long time in the heat and then immediately plunges into the sea, causing the body to change the temperature.
"At about 12:15, the F.B., about 60 years old, at the moment he came into contact with the water, on the beach of Pish Poro, is suspected to have suffered cardiac arrest, and consequently lost his life.
The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the case," police said.
