Hamide Magashi was shot dead on the evening of November 30 in Pristina, Kosovo by her ex-husband, Sokol Halili. The couple had separated and had a conflict for several months.
Two days after the murder of the 35-year-old woman, Sokol Halili killed himself in his home, where he was surrounded by the police who wanted to arrest him. But before he was killed, he had left a long letter for his family where he explained the whole story of his conflict with his ex-wife Hamide Magashi.
The letter also mentions the moment of the murder, where, among other things, he says that he sat on Hamide's knees and asked them to return together. But according to his letter, the 35-year-old woman had not accepted and he had shot her with a gun, leaving her dead on the spot.
"I approached him and I spoke to him and I begged him with the best words not to leave the child an orphan and I begged him with the best words to be good to me and I begged him,I bent down and fell on his knees and immediately told me, your mother is giving him breast milk, yes, I need to give him breast milk and come to you. I came to call you for work, little by little, last night, I didn't come for a month or two, but roughly on this topic and about this conversation, I told you about it, and when he told me right then and there, I told him that I don't think so, and at that moment I took out my gun and shot him twice in the chest, and when he fell to the ground, I shot him once more in the head and then I laughed without the burial ceremony and then I laughed without him. the real word is being talked about, I'm going to be with you all the time, I'm going to have fun, see me, where's the truth and all the media andtelevision and all the humanity of her family and others who spoke with the words of the people of her family at no time is the truth spoken", it is said, among other things, in the long letter that Sokol Halili left behind.
