Local media, referring to police sources, inform that the 48-year-old died, when the stick he was using during the works on the olive trees touched the high voltage wires, whereupon the Albanian received fatal injuries.
He was transported to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries.
The Corfu police are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
