This Wednesday afternoon, traffic was difficult on the Lozhan-Moglicë-Gramsh axis, designated as an alternative axis after the blockage of the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis.

According to information, it is learned that two trucks were allowed to enter from Gramsh Road heading southeast. The latter have opened their arms on the side of the road, but due to the high movement of vehicles, a traffic jam has been created.

The movement of vehicles is slowing down, while the Korça traffic police have just arrived in this segment.

The road connecting Librazhd with Prrenjas has collapsed and become impassable since February 21, 2026.

The "isolation" of the southeast has led to mutual accusations between political parties.

Democratic leader Sali Berisha has accused Rama's government of the situation, stating that the collapse is occurring due to corruption in the construction of road axes.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama states that the cause of the collapse is the geological composition in that area.

A day ago, at a press conference, the head of the Albanian Road Traffic Association, Ami Kozeli, announced that a new alternative road would be built.
