The former Minister of the Interior, Sandër Lleshaj, was summoned this Friday to the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime.
It is learned that Lleshaj was called in the capacity of a person who has knowledge of a case under investigation by SPAK.
The Special Prosecutor's Office is conducting investigations following suspicions of tender abuses at the time when Lleshaj headed the Ministry of the Interior.
The former minister was questioned for over an hour by the prosecutors of the case.
Sandër Lleshaj left the post of Minister of the Interior on December 10, 2020, after the protests caused by the killing of 25-year-old Klodian Rasha by a police officer.
