Allison Guerriero, the ex-girlfriend of Charles McGonigal, the former FBI official who has troubled not only the United States, but also the political class of Tirana, clarified on Twitter an interview she gave in the Albanian media.

She says that she agreed to give an interview to the Albanian media, because the latter paid her, while the American media do not. Allison Guerriero writes that she needs to pay medical bills, legal bills, etc. and so she will only give interviews if they pay her, as she states she is desperate for money.

During the interview, Charles McGonigal's relationship with Prime Minister Edi Rama was described as an unusual friendship.

According to her, McGonigal often traveled to Albania and Kosovo without reporting the meetings he had to the FBI.
