The former director of the Vlora Police, Sokol Mulosmani, has been arrested by police in Tirana after a conflict over property issues with his brothers.

News24 learns that a total of five people have been arrested, four of whom are brothers.

According to preliminary information, Sokol Mulosmani was involved in a conflict with his three brothers and nephew on Saturday evening.

The incident took place on "Njazi Meka" street, in the capital, where the clash between family members is suspected to have started over a property issue.

After being notified, police forces immediately intervened, neutralizing the situation and arresting the people involved. The full circumstances of the conflict are still under investigation.
