New details emerge from the serious event that shook Tirana on February 27th.
A 24-year-old Palestinian woman, identified as Rayyan Alwan, was found stabbed to death in an apartment on "Gjon Muzaka" Street.
Initially, it was reported that the young woman was killed by her husband. But today, Tirana Police have received documents from Interpol confirming that Rayyan Alwan and Fadi Alwan are father and daughter.
No other information has been sent by Interpol yet that could reveal the makeup of their family. Other members will need to be identified to learn more about the motive that led to the murder of the 24-year-old Palestinian.
Interpol is following the trail of 49-year-old Fadi Alwan, who is suspected of hiding in Lebanon.
The forensic examination into the death of the Palestinian girl has not yet been completed by the forensic institute.
Police sources indicate that a review of the cameras revealed that all communications at the airport or at the house they rented were handled solely by their father, as the 24-year-old did not speak at all.
The police suspected that the two Palestinians had used false documents, but so far this has not been proven.
